Our Story

Nestled in the mountains of San Rafael, Antioquia, Finca La Tienda de La Florida is more than just a beautiful property — it is a story of family, heritage, and love.

What began as my grandfather’s ranch has been lovingly restored and transformed into a private sanctuary where families and friends can experience the authentic paisa way of life. Rebuilding my grandfather’s finca has been one of the most meaningful projects of my life. It allowed me to reconnect with my roots while blending my passion for architecture, design, restoration, and heritage. What started as a personal labor of love has grown into a place that welcomes others to create their own memories.

We carefully preserved the original house — built entirely by hand at a time when there were no roads. All materials were transported by horse, and even the bricks were made right here on the property. Today, the original house stands proudly alongside thoughtful modern additions: a three-story building in classic paisa style and a contemporary two-story apartment. Together, they create a beautiful harmony between tradition and modern comfort.

At the very front of the property sits our stunning infinity pool, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the mountains and lake. It’s the perfect place to relax and feel the true spirit of La Tienda de la Florida.
